Ok, running late for work and need to get to the office/hospital quickly? Well, we might have the transportation solution for you… 😉

Straight from Japan, here is a scary-fast reptile – a 2013 Nissan GT-R. Dressed up in a metallic black exterior, black interior, gunmetal wheels with gold brake calipers – and about 545 fire-breathing Godzillas under the hood (they were horses, but they got eaten up by the fiery dragons!) and 463 lb-feet of torque. Using an amazingly efficient 3.8 Liter twin-turbo V6 engine fitted with a 6-speed dual-clutch paddle-shifting transmission, this speed machine rockets from 0-60 mph in a blur…2.7 seconds (yes, we did say 2.7 seconds!). Top speed is 196 mph. This is one of the fastest machines out there!

1987 DeTomaso Pantera GT5-S: A Rare Treat!

Here’s a rare treat for you. Imagine seeing this car in 1987…hell, imagine seeing this car today! This is a rare gem – a black 1987 DeTomaso Pantera GT5-S! From 1971-1991, only about 7200 Panteras were ever made. And of those 7200 cars, only about 187 were the special, wide-body GT5-S editions. You may notice a resemblance to the legendary Lamborghini Countach – and in fact, the Pantera can be considered somewhat of an Italian cousin of the Countach.

So let’s check out this black Pantera GT5-S and follow along!

So, what do you think of this car?…

Running with the Snakes: 13+ Vipers and 1 Lamborghini

So you’ve heard of the famous “Running of the Bulls” event in Spain, right? You know, where lots of bulls are running wild all over the place in Pamplona, Spain?…

Well, this ain’t Pamplona, Spain today! This is America! The good ‘ole U.S. of A., baby! And the king of the road in America is the Dodge Viper (now known as the SRT Viper) – the V10 snake that bites!

So what happens when you get a bunch of Vipers together and one lonely Gallardo (poor bull…lol). Well, if you can’t beat them, you join them for a run! So let’s go “Running with the Snakes”! 😉

Here’s a whole snake-pit full of Vipers hitting the open road for a drive…along with one (yes, only one) Lamborghini Gallardo following these venomous reptiles. Oh, and a Z06 joins the fun, too.

So, which Viper would you drive?…

Tuxedo Cruise: White Lamborghini Gallardo, Black Lamborghini Gallardo

When it comes to pure driving fun, is there anything better than a Lamborghini with a manual transmission? We think not. 😉

For example, just ask Valentino Balboni (legendary Lamborghini test driver extra-ordinaire) what transmission HE prefers for his exotic sportscar driving and you will get only ONE answer: shifting a gated manual transmission through the gears…especially if it’s an Italian V10 or V12 he’s piloting. 😉

Here’s a rare white Lamborghini Gallardo with a gated 6-speed manual transmission. Joining the white Gallardo is a black Lamborghini Gallardo – also with a 6-speed manual transmission. Twice the fun!

Ferrari 430 Scuderia: The Italian Stallion

The word “Scuderia” means “stable of horses” – well, Ferrari certainly has a fleet of race horses being bred in their Maranello stables, don’t they? 😉

Enter the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, the lightweight/track-oriented version of the regular F430.

Uploaded on Razzi.me Uploaded on Razzi.me

Decked out in a menacing black exterior with gold racing stripes and gold wheels, the Scuderia is about 220 lbs lighter than a standard F430. With its 4.3 Liter V8 engine, it puts out 510 hp and 347 lb-feet of torque. 0-60 mph arrives in 3.6 seconds and top speed is 198 mph. This is a track weapon for the streets, reminiscent of the legendary 360 Challenge Stradale. The 430 Scuderia also sports one of the best-sounding stock exhausts in the Ferrari lineup!

Valentino Balboni: The Man, The Myth, The Legend

In the world of test drivers, there is one superhero who stands above all the rest. And no, it ain’t The Stig.

You see, this man is a legend – one with no equal. A driving genius who happens to have driven about 80% of all Lamborghinis ever made. He is Italian. He is a driving rockstar. And he is a true icon in the automotive world.

His name is Valentino Balboni. And make no mistake – if you ever have the fortune to meet Mr. Balboni and spend time chatting with him, you will be truly impressed at the quality of human being he is, regardless of his status as the best automotive test driver of all time.

Uploaded on Razzi.me Uploaded on Razzi.me

A true gentleman in every sense of the word, Valentino Balboni is as humble as one can be. But don’t be fooled by his quiet reserve, as he is also extremely entertaining to hang out with and is a bonafide people person. His stories are engaging, his charisma is unmistakeable, and his memory/recall is really quite astounding. This guy is just flat-out cool!

Aside from being the coolest dude on the planet, one thing is for sure: This man can DRIVE! Make no mistake about THAT!

As the former chief test driver for Automobili Lamborghini, Balboni knows more about Lamborghinis than any person alive. After all, he was Lamborghini’s chief driver for 40 years!

Now serving as the ambassador of all things Lamborghini (he retired as chief test driver in 2008), Mr. Balboni travels the world participating in car events, speaking, signing autographs, and yes, even driving with other car fanatics!
