Then again, maybe not?  After all, many physicians (including us!) enjoy the <strong>musical arts<\/strong>, in addition to the <strong>automotive arts<\/strong>, no?  \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Actually, there are many similarities between cars and music.  As we mentioned in a previous post, <a href='http:\/\/carscrubs.com\/blog\/?p=954' >the <strong>sound<\/strong> is what gets you hooked<\/a> on a particular automobile, and <a href='http:\/\/carscrubs.com\/blog\/?p=849' >the sweet symphony emanating from the car&#8217;s engine<\/a> is comparable to that emanating throughout the concert theater.  A beautiful-sounding engine is a true work of art&#8230;just as a great musical performance is also a true work of art.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, we had a chance to enjoy a very entertaining performance by a group of extremely talented cellists.  It reminded us that we should all take time to stop and <strong>smell<\/strong> the roses, <strong>see<\/strong> the beauty that surrounds our lives, and  <strong>LISTEN<\/strong> to the world around us, including the &#8220;sound of music&#8221;, whether it be from your favorite string instrument&#8230;or that of your favorite V12 engine.  \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy!&#8230; \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"480\" height=\"390\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/h3_e_L1p4Gg\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Editor&#8217;s Addendum:<\/strong><\/em>  The above cello recital was organized by <strong>Aisha<\/strong> (one of the cellists) to benefit <a href='http:\/\/www.art-stream.org\/mission' ><strong>ArtStream, Inc.<\/strong><\/a>, an organization whose mission is to create artistic opportunities for individuals in communities traditionally under-served by the arts.  Their goal is to reach out to members in various groups, such as persons with disabilities; seniors; people with short- or long-term illnesses and their families or caregivers; immigrants; veterans; people who are grieving; and students and teachers.
